Built and is prototyping a 9-axis robot arm for automating the fryer and grill.
Fast food workers no longer have to leave the restaurant with the smell of fries in their hair and sadness in their eyes.

September 3, 2023 — The picture on the right shows my first test using the robot to try cooking. This was done at UCHA, UCLA's student co-op. I learned a lot—most importantly, that the robot’s base must be on the ceiling to take up less space in the kitchen. The photo on the left is an illustration I made before building the robot. It’s interesting to see the illustration side by side with the real thing.

**The concepts below are designs I made while I was in high school depicting robots that can work alongside humans. However, right now, all efforts are focused on making the frying robot profitable first, before expanding to burger flipping and assembly.**
Wall-E is the multipurpose hand of the kitchen.
It is capable of maneuvering food product trays to the food warmer or to the sink, engaging and releasing items, and performing a multitude of tasks within the kitchen environment. The robot is designed to connect and disconnect objects like food product trays and tools like spatulas and grill scrapers effortlessly.

Egg Man: the six-axis robot + Egg Cooker: the grill for eggs—a dynamic breakfast duo.
Egg Man automatically loads the eggs into position, cracks the eggs, then discards the shells. The Egg Cooker cooks the eggs and then tilts to slide the finished product onto a tray for collection and transfer to a warmer by Wall-E. Both units can handle up to eight eggs at once, operate independently, and are designed for efficient use in busy restaurant mornings, capable of making various styles of eggs.

The Vertical Grill cooks food product fast, efficiently, and safely without the need for human intervention.
1. Frozen hamburger patties are automatically dropped into place.
2. The grills shut and cook the product.
3. Product falls into the tray.
4. ‘Wall-e’ is automatically notified to move the tray to a food warmer.
5. Oil is automatically collected and stored at the very bottom for auto-disposal.
Usability: More compact and efficient than a standard industrial grill.
