Presented at the 2025 UC Davis Picnic Day Showcase under the Electrical and Computer Engineering department
My colleague Thu Htet and I earned 1st place in the ECE Picnic Day Project Showcase, evaluated by representatives from Texas Instruments. Thank you to them. It was a pleasure to demonstrate robotics again to future engineers, colleagues, and alumni.

Aluminum Stand for Robot
I built a lighter and portable stand using 4040 aluminum extrusions. I use the stand to move my robot around UCD and built connectors that where the basket would go on a fryer in a commercial kitchen.

Wooden Prototype Stand for Robot
I used spare wood to create a proof of concept system to see how the robot works in inverse gravity. It worked, and I will build a lighter and more portable stand using 4040 aluminum extrusions.

Wrote an Upgrade Guide for Increasing Torque in joint 3 of a 7 DOF robot arm
I upgraded one of the joints of my robot and made a guide for the open source community. The original J3 holding torque is 0.39 Nm, the upgrade brings it up to 1.02Nm. An increase of 0.63 Nm or 161.54%.

Portable Conveyor with Speed Control by Teensy Microcontroller
It was fun to build a conveyor belt, and I would totally like to expand it to carry more things like dishes, coal, or the Pokémon trainer from Black and White. It was based on an Instructables guide, but I made custom modifications to the electronics and created a whole new belt system. I integrated a Teensy board and rewired the motor and pulley system to use the robot's motor drivers.

Built the Open Source AR4 Robot
I used online resources and guides to build my own robot. I use the robot to test methods of automation in the fast food industry.
