Our Company

Built and is prototyping a 9-axis robot arm for automating the fryer and grill. 

Why robots for the fast food industry? Our company started after our founder, Elijah, witnessed a fellow 17-year-old colleague at McDonald's fall, hands first, on a hot-oil-covered grill, searing permanent third-degree burns across his arm. Elijah was not able to understand why minimum-wage workers, especially adolescents, should be subjected to hazardous work. 

A lot of the food McDonald's cooks and assembles is on a food assembly line, resembling assembly lines in car factories. If car factories are automated, why not fast food? The question of "Why?" stuck with him, and he has been working on automating the hazardous and unpleasant jobs in the fast food industry ever since. 

Fast food workers no longer have to leave the restaurant with the smell of fries in their hair and sadness in their eyes.

Current development as of March 22, 2025. The robot can pick up a basket in a fully automated kitchen. Computer vision and AI implementation are currently in progress.

September 3, 2023 — The picture on the right shows my first test using the robot to try cooking. This was done at UCHA, UCLA's student co-op. I learned a lot—most importantly, that the robot’s base must be on the ceiling to take up less space in the kitchen. The photo on the left is an illustration I made before building the robot. It’s interesting to see the illustration side by side with the real thing.
